Review the relevance of Google AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages)
Learn about the potential and limitations of this Google-endorsed specification for rapidly serving mobile pages
Module purpose
Accelerated Mobile Page, or AMP for short, was a project from Google and Twitter designed to make really fast mobile pages. AMP can be considered a stripped-down form of HTML for mobile.
AMP pages benefit from faster load times due to less data transfer and rendering, which can give rise to better conversion, so it’s worthwhile considering this approach in some sectors, like publishing or retail where AMP is most widely used.
