Rather than sign up for a number, a revenue target which marketing commits to deliver, we use terms like “marketing qualified leads, amplification, and engagement” to describe our key goals. No surprise when the rest of the company doesn’t understand what we do, and how we spend our money. Focusing on company goals like revenue can help fix this.
